Design proofs are provided where required for logos, custom layouts and detailed engraving.
Artwork Requirements
For the cleanest engraving, logos, crests and line artwork should be supplied as vector artwork where possible.
Best formats:
– PDF vector preferred
– SVG or AI accepted on request
– PNG, JPG and JPEG accepted for photos or reference images
Vector artwork gives the sharpest result for logos, text, crests and clean line designs.
If you are not sure what you have, send it through and we will check it before quoting.
Photo & Portrait Engraving
Photos and portraits can be engraved, but the final result depends heavily on the quality of the image supplied.
Best results come from:
– High-resolution images
– Clear, sharp photos
– Good contrast
– Good lighting
– Minimal background clutter
A clear PNG, JPG or JPEG is usually best.
Low-quality photos may need artwork cleanup or may not be suitable for engraving.
What To Avoid
To avoid poor engraving results, please do not send:
– Blurry images
– Screenshots
– WhatsApp-compressed images
– Photos of printed logos
– Social media profile pictures
– Low-resolution artwork
If the file quality is too low, we may recommend artwork setup before engraving.
Engraving Options
Simple Text Engraving
Best for names, dates and short messages.
Includes up to 30 characters including spaces, using a standard clean layout.
Premium Engraving
Best for styled layouts, monograms, coordinates, portraits, crests, logos and custom designs.
Logo / Artwork Engraving
Best for business logos, branding, detailed graphics and supplied artwork.
Artwork setup may be quoted separately depending on file quality and complexity.
NOTE
Artwork must be supplied in a usable format.
Design cleanup or artwork recreation is quoted separately when needed.
